For 40 years, Garden State Orthopaedic Associates has taken a highly personal approach to caring for our patients. We believe the most important aspects of providing quality care are listening to the needs of our patients, thorough testing, communication, patient education, and presenting treatment options.

The practice specializes in sports medicine, total joint replacements, rehabilitation, general orthopaedics, foot and ankle, hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, and spine surgery. This practice is unique in that we maintain a state-of-the-art surgical center for your convenience. We also offer six conveniently located centers in Fair Lawn, Mahwah, Clifton, Paramus, and Iselin. Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans across New Jersey. View our insurance list to check whether we accept your plan, or call us at 201-791-4434 for help confirming coverage.

Do you treat work-related injuries?

Yes. Work injuries are one of our core specialties. Injured workers, adjusters, and nurse case managers can call our dedicated workers’ compensation line at 201-475-0016.

Do you treat injuries from car accidents?

Yes. Please call us at 201-791-4434 before scheduling so we can confirm your coverage and payment arrangements. Please note that we don’t accept letters of protection.

Do I need a referral to see a GSOA orthopaedic specialist?

Many plans don’t require one, but some HMO plans do. If you have a referral from your primary care or family physician, bring it to your visit along with any X-rays, MRI, or CT reports.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Photo ID, insurance card, any referral, and recent X-rays, MRI, or CT reports.
