Bill completed his undergraduate studies at the Long Island University and subsequently graduated from the LIU/Brooklyn Hospital Physician Assistant program magna cum laude. He subsequently trained at The Beth Israel Medical center where he served full time in Emergency Medicine and part time in Orthopedics.
In December of 2002 Mr. Thomson joined Garden State Orthopedics. Working with the practice surgeons has helped finetune his competence in Orthopedics. On a daily basis, Mr. Thomson works hand in hand with all of the Surgeons as well as his fellow Physician Assistants to provide the highest level of care to his patients.
Mr. Thomson feels strongly that education is a very important part of his practice. He is directly involved with training second-year PA students from Cornell University and other PA programs. He is actively involved in The Valley Hospital PA shadowing program, which allows high school and college students to get involved early in observing PAs in a clinical setting. Mr. Thomson works diligently to guide students, who hope to pursue a future in medicine, in the right direction.
